Quality Control Technician
Position Purposen
Under minimal supervision, the Quality Control Technician will follow through on set processes and ensure adherence to best production practices and product quality standards. The Quality Control Technician receives little instructions on day to day and receives general instructions on new projects.

Functional Responsibilityn
Essential Dutiesn
- nt
- Monitors ISO QMS, cGMPs, and performs quality inspections throughout the packaging process
- nt
- Tests and approves the wine quality in the bottle following microbiological and analytical techniques
- nt
- Controls nonconforming product using SAP protocols other inventory tools
- nt
- Performs microbiological swabbing on packaging lines to ensure sterility.
- nt
- Prepares and completes necessary paperwork and ensures traceability within our Delicato Quality Control software.
- nt
- Pulls holdback samples and transacts them into our holdback room.
- nt
- Performs all quality functions within SAP including transferring inventory, creating samples, holding &a; releasing product.
- nt
- Monitors inventory of lab supplies
- nt
- Performs process capability analysis and participates in Failure Mode and Effects Analysis
- nt
- Provides support to DFV mobile bottling location if necessary

Minimum Requirementsn
Education and Experience

- nt
- 2 Years directly related experience in a food or beverage manufacturing environment
- nt
- Quality Control monitoring experience desired
- nt
- Experience working within SAP
- nt
- Experience working under ISO 22000 certification

- Acceptable driving history with valid Driver&s;s License

- Proficient with Microsoft desktop applications

- SAP knowledge preferred

- Knowledge of cGMPs

- Exposure to varying levels of dust, chemicals, fumes, gases, and noisy equipment

- May be required to travel between job sites for project oversight

$17Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
