Part Time Merchandising Assistant

Job Summary: Responsible for maintaining proper inventory levels of non-wine merchandise sold at Francis Ford Coppola Winery, Virginia Dare Winery and Inglenook Winery; assists with additional merchandising & procurement duties for The Family Coppola of Destinations as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Administrative Tasks (50%)
Prepares and distributes reports including sales, inventory levels, merchandise received and inbound freight charges.
Request and track vendor samples.
Assist with proprietary product implementation (artwork requests, artwork approval coordination, sample tracking).
Coordinates addition of new non-wine products to online stores, including photography requests and preparing product copy.
Creates new merchandise skus.
Updates and maintains product information sheets and updates system information on attributes such as categories, seasons, weights, and supplier information.
Codes and processes invoices for payment.
Additional projects as directed by supervisor.
Order Processing (40%)
Places reorders with suppliers, tracks orders, and communicates with Distribution Center, Visual Team, eCommerce and Tasting Room operations on status of incoming merchandise.
Reconciles damages and order discrepancies with suppliers.
Processes approved supply and merchandise requests for internal customers; communicates status of orders to requesting parties.
Sourcing (10%)
Sources supplies for internal customers upon request.
Job Requirements
2 years' experience in purchasing preferred
Proficiency in MS Word and Excel required

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
